This is an oldest irrigation system which is still used to date. The major disadvantage of the system is that there is lots of water usage which causes saturation on the plants.
The last one is the ditch system. This is a traditional systems which now being replaced by the modern methods. In this method, canals are dug between rows of crops. These sub-canals are joined to the main water supply canal. The main canal supplies water to various ditches to water the seedlings or plants.
