These are one of the prettiest garden trees in the entire world of gardening but they are also quite known to be demanding as they do need quite a bit of attention.

It has to be a place where the sun shine will constantly be shining and also a place where the soil is drained. The first thing to do would be to dig a hole in the ground that is wider and bigger than the root ball of the try. After that put it inside the hole and to spread the roots inside the ground before filling the hole with soil. Once that is done, put some water on the soil for around ten minutes.

Now one should make sure that he waters the plant for around ten minutes before he dumps some compost on the base. The compost will act as the fertilizer of the myrtle as this tree reacts well to it. So make sure to make a circle of compost around the base of the tree so that the tree can suck it in.

After putting some of the compost on the base, the very next thing to do would be to now put some mulch somewhere near the place where the compost was put. Just for measurement purposes, the mulch should be placed around three inches away from the trunk of the tree.

Now when the tree is already set, then all one needs to do would be to maintain it so that it stays alive and grows to be strong. It usually needs to be watered quite a bit during the summer because of the heat. However, never put too much water because it likes soil that is dry.

After the summer, spring will come which means that the tree that was grown will need some pruning done on it. Take note that whenever a tree develops some weak or dead wood, they need to be cut off. The reason for that is simply because they need to make way for newer wood.
