There are many types of creeping, crawling and slithering pests. Nobody wants any of them in their home, or even near their home. There are many choices of pest control products on the market, and nearly as many ideas about how to protect yourself from unwanted visitors. Do you have a problem with fruit flies? You can get rid of them with a little apple cider vinegar! Pour some vinegar into the bottom of a tall glass. Add a little bit of dish soap. The fruit flies will swim into the glass, but won't be able to swim out, and will drown.

Having exterior lights on your home can be great for entertaining or for preventing burglars from breaking in, but they can also attract pests. Outdoor lighting in yellow, pink, and orange usually attract less bugs.

Many pests carry disease, so can be a threat to the health of your family.
